Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2027
Erasmus Mundus is not one scholarship with one application form. It is a set of joint master’s programmes run by groups of universities in different countries and some of them offer scholarships to the best-ranked students. That’s why the first step is picking a programme, not filling a general form. Here is how to go about it.

What the programme is
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) are funded by the European Union. You study in at least two countries and finish with a joint or double degree According to the European Commission, some programmes offer full scholarships to the best-ranked students worldwide.
These cover participation costs and contribute to travel, visa and living costs.
What the scholarship covers
The amounts differ by programme. As an example, the Mundus MAPP public policy master’s (2027–2029 intake) offers €1,400 per month for up to 24 months, up to €33,600 in total, plus a full tuition waiver.

Costs that stay with you at this programme include a study visit in year 1 (about €600 to €1,000), a winter school in year 2 (about €600 to €1,000), and travel and visas between your home country and the consortium.
The consortium buys health insurance for enrolled students. This programme information comes from a third-party summary of its official site, so check mundusmapp.org.
Another third-party guide says some programmes also give a travel and installation allowance. Check each programme’s page for what applies.
Who can apply
Students from anywhere in the world can apply. You need a bachelor’s degree, or you can be in the final year if you will graduate before the master’s starts.
Each programme adds its own rules on grades, subjects and English. For example, Mundus MAPP wants a GPA of about 3.17/4.0 and prefers social science backgrounds.
