Readers trust us with decisions about their education and careers, so we take accuracy seriously. This page explains how Opportunities Alert researches, writes, checks and corrects its content.
Who Is Responsible for the Content
Opportunities Alert is owned and edited by Zaviyar. Zaviyar is responsible for what is published and for approving every post before it goes live.
Our Standards
- Accuracy first: we publish only what we can support with an official announcement or a trustworthy source.
- Clarity: we explain eligibility, dates, benefits and the application process in plain, simple language.
- Usefulness: every post should help a reader decide whether to apply and show them exactly how.
- Honesty: we never invent deadlines, benefits or requirements, and we say “not announced yet” when information is missing.
- Original writing: we write our own summaries. We do not copy articles from other websites.
How We Research and Verify
- Find the source. We start from the official website, notification, press release or application portal of the organisation.
- Check the key facts. We confirm the name of the provider, eligibility, deadline, benefits, application method and any fees against the official source.
- Look for red flags. We do not publish offers that ask applicants to pay to be selected, hide the provider’s identity or have no official source.
- Write and link. We summarise the information and link to the official page so readers can verify it.
- Review before publishing. Each post is read and approved before it goes live.
Updates and Corrections
Deadlines and rules change, so we revisit important posts and update them when new information appears. If we find or are told about a mistake, we correct it as soon as possible and update the post. To report an error, email askzaviyar@gmail.com with a link to the post and the official source that shows the correct information.
Independence and Advertising
- Advertising and editorial content are kept separate. Advertisers cannot influence what we write or how we rank opportunities.
- We do not accept payment to publish a scholarship, job or programme as if it were a normal editorial post.
- If any content is ever sponsored or contains affiliate links, we will say so clearly.
Opportunities We Will Not Publish
- Offers that charge applicants a fee to be selected or to “guarantee” a result.
- Opportunities with no verifiable provider or official source.
- Misleading, discriminatory or illegal offers.
