Fully Funded Türkiye Bursları Scholarship 2027

Every year, the Turkish government pays for thousands of international students to study in its universities. The programme is called Türkiye Bursları, and the next round is coming up in January.
What you get
The scholarship covers your tuition and accommodation. It also includes health insurance, a return flight and a monthly stipend. Before your degree starts, you spend one year learning Turkish.

The stipend depends on your level of study, so check the official figures before you plan your budget.
Who can apply
Almost anyone outside Türkiye. You can apply for a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD. You need to have graduated, or be about to graduate, before August 2027. Each level has its own age and grade rules, so read those carefully before you start.
You don’t need an admission letter first. You pick up to 12 programmes, and the committee places you in one.

How to apply
- Create an account on the official application portal.
- Fill in your details and choose your programmes.
- Upload your documents, such as transcripts, ID and a passport photo.
- Submit before the deadline. Once you submit, you can’t edit the form.
The application is completely free. Nobody needs to be paid to get you in, and anyone who asks for money is not connected to the scholarship.

Dates to remember
Applications are expected to open on 10 January 2027 and close on 20 February 2027. Interviews follow in spring, and results come out around August.

Our advice
Scan your documents in December so you aren’t rushing in February. The portal gets busy near the deadline, so submit at least a week early.
