Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Status Check Online
Apni Chhat Apna Ghar (ACAG), also searched as “Apna Ghar Apni Chat”, is the Punjab government’s interest-free housing loan programme You check your application status by logging in to the official ACAG portal with your CNIC.
This page explains the login steps, what the dashboard shows and what to do if your status does not change.

What you need
- Your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes)
- The password you set when you registered
- Your acknowledgement number, sent by SMS and email when you applied
- Your registered mobile number (a one-time PIN may be sent to it)
How to check your ACAG status by CNIC
- Open the official portal: acag.punjab.gov.pk.
- Enter your CNIC without dashes and your password.
- Enter the CAPTCHA and, if asked, the one-time PIN.
- Open Application Status from your dashboard.
Your dashboard is reported to show your Application ID, name, CNIC, status, selected microfinance institution (MFI) and loan category. You do not need to apply again to check. If you forgot your password, use “Forgot Password” with your CNIC.
What the statuses mean
- Under review / verification: your documents and records are being checked, for example against NADRA and land records.
- Approved / sanctioned: your loan is accepted and your sanction letter can be downloaded from the dashboard.
- Financing disbursed: the loan release has started.
- Rejected: the reason is shown on the portal or given by the helpline, and you may correct your record and apply in a later phase.
You get SMS and email alerts when your status changes, but full details are on the portal after login.

About the loan. The programme offers interest-free loans of up to Rs 1.5 million for building on your own plot Reports also list smaller options of Rs 500,000 for roof repair and Rs 1 million for home extension. Money is released in construction stages, and each stage is verified before the next release. Loan amounts and terms have been reported differently, so confirm yours on the portal.

Eligibility (as reported)
- Punjab resident with a valid CNIC
- Owns a plot of up to 5 marla (urban) or 10 marla (rural)
- No loan default
