The PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme pays eligible farmer families Rs 2,000 per installment into their bank account News reports say the 24th installment was released on 30 October 2026, to over 9.34 crore farmers. This page explains how to check your own status, what the messages mean and how to fix a stuck payment.

What you need

• Your PM-Kisan Registration Number
• Your registered mobile number (for the OTP)
• Or your Aadhaar number, if you do not know your registration number

How to check your PM Kisan status

1. Open the official website: pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Go to Farmers Corner and click Know Your Status.
3. Enter your Registration Number and the captcha, then click Get OTP.
4. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
5. Read your installment status and your e-KYC details.

Don’t know your Registration Number?

1. In Farmers Corner, open Know Your Status and click Know Your Registration Number.
2. Enter your registered mobile number and the captcha, and request an OTP.
3. Enter the OTP to see your registration number.
4. Go back to Know Your Status and use that number.

If your mobile number is not registered, use your Aadhaar number instead. The OTP goes to your Aadhaar-linked mobile.

What the status means (as reported by guides)

• Payment transferred: Rs 2,000 was sent to your Aadhaar-linked bank account.
• FTO generated, payment pending: the payment order is issued and the money is expected within a few working days.
• Payment failed: a bank account problem, so check your account and Aadhaar seeding.
• e-KYC pending: complete e-KYC or the next installment may be blocked.
• Land seeding pending: your land records are not yet verified by the state.
• Rejected: the reason is shown on screen.

e-KYC is mandatory. There are three ways:

1. OTP: on pmkisan.gov.in click e-KYC, enter your Aadhaar number and the OTP (needs an Aadhaar-linked active mobile).
2. Biometric: visit a nearby CSC or State Seva Kendra with your Aadhaar.
3. Face authentication: use the PM-Kisan app and the Aadhaar Face RD app.

Check the beneficiary list. In Farmers Corner, open Beneficiary List, select your state, district, sub-district, block and village, and click Get Report.

Payment stuck? The usual reasons are pending e-KYC, an inactive or old mobile number, a bank account not linked to Aadhaar, or unverified land records. Fix the problem, then check again.
